Fair Go Sport Weekend
‘2018 Fair Go, Sport!’ round will be held Thursday 2nd August to Wednesday 8th August, showing support for diversity in hockey.
Wodonga Hockey Club, with the support of Hockey Albury-Wodonga, will be wearing Rainbow socks as a way of showing our commitment to creating a sporting club that is safe, supportive and inclusive of all.
In pulling on a pair of Rainbow socks our members are taking a stand against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia and the physical and psychological harm that these forms of discrimination can cause.
As per last year, players are issued with rainbow socks and will be required to wear them across the weekend! (return them after your game)
Further to wearing Rainbow socks, we encourage our members to take the time to learn more about how our Club can support diversity, by viewing the following resources.
